About:
This year starts 10 years that Mr. Loman has been with Nordonia City Schools. He has taught Economics, World Cultures, A.P. European History, World History, and U.S. History. He currently teaches U.S. History since the Civil War for the 2008-09 school year. He holds a Master's Degree in Educational Administration from Kent State University, a B.S. in Education from Kent, and a B.A. in Political Science and History from The University of Akron. While at Nordonia he serves on various committees including Chairman of the District’s Health and Wellness Committee; creator and purveyor of the P.A.S.S. program, a peer-mentoring program for students transitioning to Nordonia High School; and he also serves on the high school Continuous Improvement Team. In his free time Mr. Loman enjoys a variety of endurance sports, including running, cycling, and triathlon.
