Advanced Placement European History is an intensive study of modern Europe from 1450 to the present including a basic chronology of events and trends. The course is designed to provide students with the skills necessary to take the Advanced Placement European History exam for possible college credit. The goals of the program include the development of understanding of some of the principal themes in modern European History, an ability to analyze historical evidence, and an ability to analyze and to express historical understanding in writing. This is equivalent to an introductory college course and is for students with a particular interest in history.
FOR HONORS MAJORS
